DTF Transfers – Custom Full-Color Prints with No Minimums

DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are one of the most flexible and innovative print methods available today. Whether you’re producing one shirt or a small batch of custom pieces, DTF is perfect for low minimum orders, multi-color designs, and printing on a wide variety of materials.

At Ink Made, we offer high-quality DTF transfers that give you unmatched color detail, fabric flexibility, and ease of application—making them a go-to choice for small brands, event merch, and custom on-demand printing.

What Are DTF Transfers?

Direct-to-Film (DTF) printing is a process where your design is printed onto a special film, coated with adhesive powder, and then heat-transferred onto your garment. Unlike vinyl or screen printing, DTF doesn't require weeding, color layering, or burning screens—making it ideal for short runs and complex designs.

This cutting-edge print method gives you rich, photo-realistic results and soft, stretchy prints that move with the fabric.

Why Choose DTF Transfers?

  • No Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
Perfect for small batches or one-offs
  • Full-Color Printing
Create vibrant, detailed designs with gradients, shadows, and unlimited colors
  • Stretch & Durability
Transfers stretch with the garment and hold up after multiple washes
  • Material Versatility
Works on nearly any fabric type, from cotton to nylon
  • Fast Turnaround
Once your design is ready, DTF transfers are fast and easy to apply

Whether you’re starting a brand, customizing uniforms, or creating a last-minute gift, DTF gives you full creative control without the upfront investment of screen printing.

What Materials Can DTF Transfers Be Applied To?

DTF transfers adhere beautifully to a wide variety of materials, making them one of the most versatile printing methods on the market:

  • 100% Cotton
  • Polyester & Performance Wear
  • Cotton-Poly Blends
  • Nylon & Technical Fabrics
  • Leather & Faux Leather
  • Canvas & Tote Bags

If you're unsure about compatibility, our team is happy to help test or recommend the best garment for your transfer.

How to Apply a DTF Transfer

One of the best parts about DTF? It's easy. No special equipment, no messy weeding, no long setup process.

Application Instructions:

  1. Place your DTF transfer on the garment

  2. 300°F (149°C) for 10 seconds with medium to firm pressure
  3. Let cool completely (cold peel)
  4. Peel off the film, then optionally repress with parchment paper for 5 seconds for a softer feel

That’s it—your custom garment is ready to wear, sell, or ship!

How DTF Transfers Are Priced

Unlike traditional screen printing, DTF transfers are priced by size, not by color or quantity. That means:

  • You don’t pay more for full-color prints
  • You don’t need to hit a minimum quantity
  • You only pay for the space your design takes up

This makes DTF a budget-friendly option for detailed artwork, test runs, prototypes, or small-batch drops.

We also offer gang sheet printing, so you can fit multiple designs onto one transfer sheet to maximize efficiency and savings.
